Corporate Clients
Art and Design as an investment continues to grow worldwide with Private Banks and & Specialist lenders now offering both re-course and non-recourse loans on high value collections. Like all investments new collectors need to study the market, familiarize themselves with how it works and take specialist advice.
My talks aimed at private banking, wealth managers, high networth insurance companies and estate agents focus on the following
· Areas of growth in the world of fine art & design
· Early steps towards starting a collection
· Borrowing against the collection for re-investment
· Collecting for Interior Design
Private Clients
When working with a new client I am always struck by how interesting they find the back story of a painting or piece I select for them. Or indeed the life story of its creator, from economic influences such as wars and industry to personal and professional highs and lows.
Talks for private groups or institutions are completely tailored to the audience and can take either a general overview or a more detailed look at a given artist, period or style.
The best talks are ones that end up in discussion so I encourage the audience to ask questions and offer opinions both during and after the talk.

I had the pleasure of attending a talk on fine art and furniture that was given to a group of men by our former fine art colleague Carol Bellamy. Carol is a very fine and entertaining speaker and had the audience in the palm of her hand. She spoke fluently without notes on three projects that she recently undertook. The first was sourcing, purchasing pieces from around Europe and furnishing a fine period house in Foxrock. The second project involved the reframing and rehanging of an extensive art collection for a major insurance company in Dublin. The third and final project that she discussed was the cataloging, refurbishing and rehanging the art collection in a well known city centre pub. A lively question and answer session followed which Carol handled very comprehensively. All and all a very impressive performance from Carol.
